Osmolite Plus is liquid nutrition that is given to people as a tube feed. It is designed for people who cannot get all the energy and nutrients they need by mouth and who might have or be at risk of malnutrition.
If you are unable to eat safely, for example if you have difficulty swallowing, or you are able to eat, but can’t eat enough to meet your nutritional needs, then your healthcare professional (e.g. consultant or dietitian) may recommend you with Osmolite Plus to help you get the nutrients you need.
Osmolite Plus is liquid nutrition that contains calories, protein and other vitamins and minerals. It can be used as your only source of nutrition, for example if you are unable to eat by mouth or can be used as a supplement in addition to the food you eat.

HOW DO I TAKE OSMOLITE PLUS?
Your healthcare professional will have recommended Osmolite Plus to you, and they will tell you what you need, how you will receive your tube feed and for how long, as this can vary from person to person. They can also answer any questions you might have. It is important that you follow the recommendations given to you by your medical team.
HOW DO I STORE OSMOLITE PLUS?
Osmolite Plus can be kept in a cool dry place until opened. Once opened the product should be resealed, store in the fridge and consume within 24 hours.
IS OSMOLITE PLUS SUITABLE FOR MY SPECIFIC DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
Osmolite Plus is gluten free and is suitable for Kosher, Halal and Vegetarian diets.
