These monitoring diaries are a useful tool to take with you to your appointments with your healthcare professional. If you are not managing to consume all of your prescription, they may be able to discuss the reasons for this with you and decide whether you would benefit from an alternative ONS or a mix of styles and flavours to give you more variety.
Remember that you don’t need to take the full bottle of ONS all in one go. You can have it throughout the day as long as you follow the storage instructions carefully. You can add it to lots of tasty recipes. Simply use the diary to record how much, and when you have taken your prescription each day.
If you have any concerns about the amount of your ONS you are taking, make sure to take this diary with you and discuss this with your healthcare professional at your next appointment.
