This smooth take on traditional custard is perfect to enjoy on its own, or with any of your favourite desserts. It is quick and easy to make and boosted with the extra goodness of your favourite fruits. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 220ml Ensure Plus Advance (vanilla flavour)
  • Full-fat milk
  • 2 heaped tablespoons or 35g of custard powder
  • Whipped cream and berries

METHOD

Prep Time: Approximately 10 minutes

  1. Pour 220ml of Ensure Plus Advance into a measuring jug and add full-fat milk to make 1 pint (568ml). Measure two heaped tablespoons or 35g of custard powder in a saucepan. Add some of the milk to the pan and stir with a fork or whisk to form a smooth paste.
  2. Stir in the remainder of the Ensure Plus Advance and milk mixture.
  3. Heat, stirring continuously until warmed through.
