if your child is unable to eat safely, for example if they have difficulty swallowing, or are able to eat, but can’t eat enough to meet their nutritional needs, then their healthcare professional (e.g. GP or nurse) may recommend them a tube feed to help them get the extra calories, protein and other important vitamins and minerals they need.
Your child’s healthcare professional will have considered their specific medical needs and will tell you how much and how often your child needs to take the product.
