Ensure Compact

ADULT

Ensure Compact provides 2.4 kcal/mL complete, balanced, fibre-free nutrition in a low-volume formulation for people with, or at risk of developing, disease-related malnutrition.1 Its compact 125 mL serving size has been specifically developed for people who have difficulty drinking larger volumes.

It is presented in a 125 mL Ready-to-Drink bottle and available in two flavours: Vanilla and Coffee. Each bottle provides:1

  • 300 kcal
  • 12.8 g protein
  • 28 essential vitamins and minerals

Not for use in galactosaemia.

Not for parenteral use.

Uses

Ensure Compact can be used as a supplemental or sole source of nutrition. Monitor fluid and electrolyte intake to ensure adequate hydration status. It is also suitable for use as a tube feed (Vanilla flavour preferred).1


Ensure Compact is indicated for the dietary management of individuals who require high-energy, complete, balanced nutrition in a smaller volume. It is suitable for people who:1

  • Have or at risk of disease-related malnutrition
  • Require volume or fluid restriction
  • Have poor volume tolerance
  • Are recovering from surgery, injury and/or illness

Water, hydrolysed corn starch, milk protein concentrate, VEGETABLE OILS (canola oil, high oleic sunflower oil, corn oil), sucrose, hydrolysed sodium caseinate, MINERALS (potassium chloride, calcium citrate, magnesium phosphate dibasic, ferrous sulphate, potassium citrate, zinc sulphate, manganese sulphate, cupric sulphate, potassium iodide, sodium molybdate, chromium chloride, sodium selenate), EMULSIFIER (322), flavouring, VITAMINS (choline chloride, ascorbic acid, Vitamin E, niacinamide, calcium pantothenate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, thiamin hydrochloride, riboflavin, Vitamin A palmitate, folic acid, phylloquinone, biotin, Vitamin D3, cyanocobalamin), STABILISERS (460, 466).

Preparation

Ensure Compact can be administered orally or as a tube feed.1

Ready to use. SHAKE WELL. Once opened, cover, refrigerate and use within 24 hours. Store unopened at room temperature.
